this is an oc of mine!! that i'm currently fleshing out!

his name is Leopoldo Espada, and he was originally a brazilian street rat/mercenary for hire until he got caught up in a really nasty situation and was arrested with a whole truckload of charges. before his court date, a research facility reached out to him and offered to take him out of jail if he was willing to become a test subject for life-changing technology. seeing that if he continued the way he was going that he'd basically be messed up for life, he accepted and was immediately taken to their facility.
after a handful of years, leopoldo was changed from the inside out- bones replaced with synthetic cartilage, inner workings modified to allow underwater breathing, pumped with steroids 24/7 and a rock hard exoskeleton streamlined for gliding through the water. in the process, he lost his vocal chords and was rendered unable to speak, but by the end he had become the A.S.C. Project's first and only success- the amphibious selachimorpha cyborg supersoldier, codename megalodon.
